ANCIENT KARELIA
Karelian nature has always amazed with its mysterious charm: the spicy aroma of the southern taiga, rocky outcrops, the freshness of the Gulf of Finland, the ruins of forts, and the runes of legendary heroes. We will embark on a breathtaking journey through the power spots of Karelian land. We will visit a Viking sea outpost, a giant fort, cliffs, sacred stones (seids), and a dolmen on the shore of a forest lake.
NORTH AND SOUTH
July 20 at 10:00, at 14:00
On the route south of the city, we will see 19th-century fortifications, the remains of a former estate and stables, take a walk along a new observation deck near the bay, explore a 1904 church, and step onto the granite pier in the Gulf of Finland.
Traveling along a circular route north of Vyborg, we will visit fascinating and scenic places with remnants of fortifications, cellars, and manor buildings, and we will climb a former water tower with a view of the forest and the city. Don't forget your passports!
