On July 20, 2023, a unique musical event will take place in the heart of the historic Vyborg Fortress! THE BIG CHOIR CONCERT on the Singing Field is a real holiday for all connoisseurs of high art!
With the blessing of the ruling bishop, His Eminence Ignatius, Bishop of Vyborg,
10 musical groups from the Leningrad region and St. Petersburg will present their unique musical works to the audience. The Choir of the Cathedral of Vyborg, directed by the incomparable Margarita Kondrashova, many mixed and male choirs and ensembles, a cappella and with instrumental accompaniment will perform on stage.
You will hear the spiritual music of different eras: Byzantine singing, Russian and European Middle Ages, Baroque, the work of composers of the XIX-XX centuries. The works of contemporary authors will not be ignored either.
Choral sounds will fill the Singing Field from noon until the evening as part of the Baltic Rally festival, which will bring together bikers and lovers of choral music from all over the country and from abroad.
The winner of the "Battle of the Choirs", the famous "SUPERMOTIV" will perform in the final!
