Walking sightseeing tour of Vyborg
On a two-hour tour of Vyborg, we will embark on a true journey through space and time. We will discover the seven-century history of the city, stroll along the narrow cobbled streets of old Swedish Vyborg, visit a German burgher’s house, step onto Castle Island, and see the only medieval castle in Russia that is still in operation today.
The cascade of squares will remind us of Vyborg’s Russian history in the 18th century, while a walk through Esplanade Park will amaze us with the architecture of Northern Art Nouveau, so characteristic of Finnish Vyborg. Thus, we will see Vyborg not only across seven centuries but also at the crossroads of four languages and cultures.

Tasty Vyborg tour
We will visit the Burger's Estate - home of a wealthy Swedish citizen (an architectural monument of the 16th-18th centuries). Inside the building original fireplace has been preserved, 16th century wooden ceiling has been recreated. We will listen to the story of the Burger's Estate, about two neighboring monasteries, about the symbols of Vyborg - the witch Loukhi, the cat Totti, Franciscan and Dominican monks. We’ll try the famous Vyborg pretzel and gleg - a Scandinavian herbal drink with spices and herbs.
